    I am just wondering whether there will be jobs in Smyths for the Christmas season on a temporary basis? Are there usually jobs going there at Christmas?

    Or any other places?!:)

    pretty much every shop will be, but you'll need to get a move on and start going around with your cvs and asking the managers personally

    I'd imagine you'd throw together a CV, drop it into them and wait. Or give them a ring. Or maybe intercept the postman at gunpoint and take his clothes and letters?

    Most retailers will be looking for extra staff at Christmas so apply to as many places as you can. Bigger places like Pennys/Dunnes tend to keep on the good staff PT afterwards as well.

    Penneys - Headford Rd Shopping Centre
    Dorothy Perkins - headford Rd Shopping Centre
    Boots - Shop St.
    Debenhams .

    All looking for staff

    It's not so much the busy...it's more the "You ruined my Christmas" that's the kicker in that job.

    I worked there for over a year. Worst customers I've ever had to deal with.
