Looking for a specific power supply

Greetings!

I'm looking for this particular power supply:

Monacor PSS-5000 Switch-Mode Power Supply 6-15V DC 5A Max

Or anything similar that must do 6v 5a switchable.

I found a couple of shops in the UK that do it for around £22 but the delivery on it is absolutely horrendous. Does anyone know where I cam get one in Ireland? I see nothing on the Peats and Maplin web sites.

6V 5amp, very unusual, Would building your own from components available in peats be an option

Yep. A DVDO IScan HD. It came with no power supply, no chance of getting one from DVDO either alas.

I bought a DVDO Edge and a VP20 this week too, they come with power supplies but each model is different.

says hd at last part,if you import from states you still probably be hit with vat,looking at resellers in europe *so you pay vat there instead*,there's a few listed in europe so no harm typing up an email in google translate to their language and sending it off for prices-

you could go for broke and try find the closest as possible psu on ebay or bite the bullet and cough up.

Cheers for that, I just bought one for the best price I could find. £21 plus £10 shipping. Fair enough I guess as it will be a tad on the heavy side and sent by courier.

Got the lot deliver for £31. Pricey, but worth it as it's the right one that will work. Better than taking pot luck on a cheap I guess.
