Reporting a doctor?

I am wondering how to go about reporting a doctor, this is a GP of a close friend of mine that I feel is doing him more harm than good, ie. Over-prescribing medication when this man is already an alcohol and drug addict. The doctor seems to find it funny that he finishes his course of tablets early and just gives him more.…

I am wondering how to go about reporting a doctor, this is a GP of a close friend of mine that I feel is doing him more harm than good, ie. Over-prescribing medication when this man is already an alcohol and drug addict. The doctor seems to find it funny that he finishes his course of tablets early and just gives him more. My friend needs to detox and get psychriatric help, not be given more drugs to help him cope with the effects of all the alcohol and drugs. It just seems all wrong to me!
