    Hey guys and gals,

    Looking for a bit of board knowledge and experience.

    Anyone know of a semi decent / reasonably priced long term stay hostel in Melbourne?

    I just passed Bev & Micks backpackers in North Melbourne, they have a sign outside for dorm beds for $100 p/w. Not sure what it's like but might be worth checking out at that price.

    Urban central in southbank is very good. 150 a week and a good bar. Lots of Europeans including Irish. I wqs there for a month and I know of a few who stayed there for 4.

    Bev and Micks beside the Vic Market, or the Drop Bear Inn, South Melbourne beside the South Melbourne market. Both great, friendly staff and cheap :)
