What was MMcG final answer on weather he thought IRA/troubles victims were murdered or war victimes?

He accepts that the families of those who lost loved ones during the conflict see it as murder, and says that he would not disagree with them.

That he wouldnt contradict a member of the victim's family if they felt that their relation had been murdered.

Effectively, he does not think they were murdered.

Why not? Sinn Fein is an all island party and even though there is two different states, he is entitled to run.

    Point of order:

Fianna Fail alone has offices now in the north to boot!
(Maybe the others have to or will so soon?)

Ok.. a bit of a stretch here, but do you think that (Northern Irish) people who are allowed to run as president should also be allowed to have a say in who becomes president?

I don't know how you can see one as fine, and the other as not.

Gallagher is the most devious of them all

    like bertie 2.0

i hope he doesn't win, i can see lots of scandals about tax evasion, backhanders and brown envelopes coming if he is elected

it will be like bertie all over again

In fairness, for his own credibilty, either MMcG will need to reveal his source, or SG needs to come clean.

Some things would need to change for that to happen. It wouldn't be up to me to decide if that should happen.

McGuinness effectively exposed and disposed of Gallagher. Thats the kind of thing we need from a Leader of Ireland

That was turned into a bit of a trial on TV for a minute. Something Martin didn't like a few days ago.
