Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Same here. The Amazon tracker says it is in Swansea since last Saturday !!!!
Yeah so does mine, but I assumed that was when it left for ireland and the amazon tracker doesn't track it once it leaves the UK. I hope its still not really in swansea anyway!

The An Post trackers only get recognised when they get their hands on the package. Usually when you see it update it'll be in Portlaoise and you'll get it the next day, or at least that's how all my amazon orders have been!

Mine got delivered by UPS today so I'm guessing that's how they'll all be sent. They only do an all day delivery though from 9-7. Tv went Swansea, Cardiff, Germany (!) Dublin. Crazy!

Did you pay extra for the delivery? I've never had a supersaver delivery delivered by UPS. How's the TV anyway? Looking forward to getting mine :D

No that was with the supersaver delivery! I had to get the tv delivered somewhere else so won't actually have it for a couple of days. Can't wait!

What date does it give you for estimated delivery?Whenever I have bought from them before the estimated delivery is usually spot on.

Im not sure. It might go to your local depot and stay there for a week or so before being sent back. You could ring the depot and tell them your on holidays and get it given to a neighbour.

Im gonna keep a look out for the postman in the morning and get him to drop it into a mates house whenever it arrives.

This sounds like a pretty good deal. Though I would like to get something with a bigger screen size, probably a 40". I am actually looking at a lot of options with lg offering a 3d tv. But much of those 3d sets rely heavily on the use of special glasses which kind of defeats of getting a 3d tv set in the first place.

Got mine this morning as well. Have set it up just to make sure it was working. Have tuned in the DTT channels no problem. Left the settings at default, as I have'nt time to fiddle with them yet. First impressions good. Well wort the money .You certainly will not get better value at under €300.00. There's fancy text on it. Great DTT reception on a rabbit ears internal aerial. Will do more testing tonight.

EDIT: There is a basic no frills paper manual included in the documentation. There is also a cd which includes an Owners Manual, which is way more comprehensive that the paper one. There is also a plethora of other stuff on the cd.

Got mine today, lovely tv and very nice picture.

Got one of these today. Nice TV.

Particularly like the optical audio output on the back. This should let me use my non-hdmi surround sound system with hdmi sources. (At least I assume that it does that).

Got it today! Thanks again to Badgermonkey, that was a serious bargain.

Its back up now for £290 , around €325.

    Typo, meant 279 not 290! :P

Still showing at £279.90 for me:confused:

Set it up for the folks last night, looks great. They watched the Rugby this morning and raved about the picture quality. Touch controls on the front of the unit are a nice feature.

Not over enamoured with the audio pre-sets though, will require a little nerdy AV tweakery methinks.

Only got around to setting up mine today, very happy with the picture.
    Thanks OP.

Set mine up today at the folks house. Theyre delighted with it. Played movie files straight away from usb stick. Picture excellent (from sky box) and sound more than adequate. Overall pretty happy with it.

Does anyone know how to programme the sky remote for it?

The TV is £249 in Tesco.
    http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.211-5043.aspx

Anyone fancy a trip up north?

Mind you, perhaps they have it here in the south too at a reasonable price.
The older model LD450 was getting sold at a discount recently if I recall correctly. Maybe that was to make way for the newer LK model?
    One can dream anywho.
