    Hi Guys,

Just received a motherboard for a new build I am doing.

When I opened the box, noticed something was loose. It appears a heatsink dealie has come away from the board. See images attached. Is this important to have? Can it be glued back on? Or should I return it?

    Any advice welcome! :)

You can make out the glue on both the dealie and where it should be on the mobo.

I feared that was the best option. It's unfortunate, pain in the arse organizing RMA, collection etc... :(

    Thanks. Very disappointed. :(

Have bought one or two things in the past and never had a problem. Hopefully the replacement is shipped quickly and whoever glued this one in place didn't do the same job on the new board!
