Hi all,

Need a bit of help.

My girlfriend is moving to Dublin for work. She's working in the Ormond Quay area. She's looking to get a one-bedroom apartment.

She's seen a few in Smithfield, but I don't think she'd feel totally safe living there (it might well be perfectly fine, but she has *almost* ruled it out in her mind).

She's now considering a place somewhere on the Luas red line. Can anyone give any advice? She's looking for a quiet safe area.

OP: Have your girlfriend check out apartments in Chapelizod. 15 mins from Ormond Quay on the bus and right beside the Phoenix Park.

The other place I would recommend is Kilmainham...a short walk from the luas stop at Heuston Station.
