Jogging in the Curragh

Hi All

A group of us are training for the Dublin City Marathon. We would like to do a 20 mile run Saturday week on the Curragh. We want to do as much as possible on grass. Thinking of parking in Kildare village(shopping place). Or should we park up opposite Lumville house? I always see people out running. What sort of length is a lap around the Curragh on that side? Any directions for a lap route?

A is at lumville and go straight across form B to C and then back to A by D i'd say its about 7 or 8 Kms i think

Or you can drive in main entrance to Curragh off round about at the South entrance to Newbridge and park just on the left on the gravel. There are always cars parked there. Great terrain for joggers!!

HI,
I just happen to have this from 2 weeks ago.
Most of it, is on grass with exceptions of a bit through Kildare Town, Newbridge and the Curragh Camp. Its the best way of doing it without doing laps of the same spots.Hope this helps.
