Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

anthropology degree

    Hello all,just a quick question,I'm wondering is there any subject I can teach with anthropology? NOt finished my degree for another two years but want to keep my options open. I know there are plans to introduce a society and politics subject but what are the chances of it coming to fruition?also would I be qualified to teach it? MY other subject is geography,thanks for reading and any advice given.

    I wouldn't reckon Anthropology will give you anything to be honest. For CSPE it is supposed to be a politics or sociology degree. I assume if Politics and Society is ever taken up, the same will be the case. I wouldn't hold your breath for that one. I don't think the funding is there to bring it in any time soon.

    I'm in a similar position. Final year in an Anthropology degree. If I were to look in to teaching, what further courses would I need to do? I took English along with anthro in first and second year but will have to degree in it after this year. Is there any hope for me as a teacher? CSPE, English or any of the social sciences?
