Toy shop similar as in Dublin Disney store, but this one would be bigger with
( Disney, MGM, 20th Century fox and Warner Bros )characters!

So whether it is worth risking???????
    Thank you

Are you serious? What I mean is, are you actually contemplating leasing a premises in Waterford and opening this kind of store?

You'd get a lot of locals rooting for you, and probably get a lot of pedestrian traffic...but it would depend on the location and several other factors.

Regardless, we're here for any support or advice you might need.

Stores like what you are preposing would be very welcome in Waterford.

If you want to get max trade & passing footfall someplace in town would be ideal.

There are some large units available in Railway Sq which in on Crok Rd a few minute walk from city centre and though is very central and within walking distance car parking is around.

Otherwise look for a unit right in city centre which needs some new shops. Being in city centre where kids be in with parents etc would def be good

I think it would have to have the footfall, so somewhere on John Roberts Square or just off it (City Square side) would have to be the location.

Good luck with it anyway - and I don't mind being part of your market research. :D

It'd be closed within the year.

A specialised toy shop? Best place for something like that is Dublin or Cork.

Most toy shops have all the popular brands so what would make you so special ?

The majority of World if Wonder shops have closed in the past year or so.

Bad idea me thinks but nice to see a bit of optimism.

    Mod Note

Try here instead. Cross posting on Boards isn't permitted btw and using Boards for market research doesn't go down that well either!

Not really what we arehere for i'm afraid so I'm going to close this. For what it's worth IMHO I think it would bomb in Waterford but in a decent location could do well in Dublin/Cork.
