Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi ,
Is it possible to have a 10KV line moved or buried?
Is the cost of moving the line paid for by ESB or me?

This line is going very close (not sure of exact distance ~10m) to a house and sheds.

    Thanks
    A

    Hi ArraMusha

Unfortunately I wouldn't be able to advise you on this, as it is an ESB Networks issue (a separate company from ourselves that operate and maintain the electricity grid on behalf of all suppliers). Their general contact number is 1850 372 757, or for an emergency 1850 372 999. (Full contact details here).

The following link on their website may be of some help to you:

Move an Existing Pole or Electricity Line

    Thanks,

    David.

    Thanks David,

I had seen the link you posted about requesting poles to be moved on other posts( no pun intended :))

I'll get onto ESB Networks and see what they say..

Rang the folks in ESB Networks and it is possible to move a 10kV line.

Its up to the local ESB office and you need to mark on an ordnance survey map the location and proposed. Cost is borne by land owner...anyone any idea of likely cost to move say 4 poles.
