It makes for decent viewing on Youtube. I've been watching clips for the last half hour ( damn you OP ).

I think the attraction is similar to Freak shows years ago. Most probably watch to see these people air their laundry in public, away from their natural habitat. All good and well passing them on the street but it gives an insight into how some actually live their lives and it would shock most.

Of course it's complete thrash and Kyle comes across as a proper cnut but take the clip below ( which is about incest no less ) with the highest rated Youtube comment..
    How can you not laugh..

He is full of scandal, loads of affairs during his first marriage and wait for this
He told his first wife he was dying and she believed him.

@ Coletrain. It's one of those shows if you see the start you kinda want to see how it ends.

Ah! The famous "Jeremy Kyle / Jim Rose Circus" crossover episode. A classic.

WTF is that his actual daughter or is it his stepdaughter? None of them seem that concerned/disturbed about it, more concerned that he cheated on his wife  It's shocking to think that enough people like that exist to justify the creation of TV show where everyone can point and laugh at their expense.

Saw the Jeremy Kyle show one day in the gym with the sound off. The rolling title at the bottom was 'Why did you pretend to be dead to break it off with me?'. Asked the girl on duty to put the sound on, in case I ever had the same problem.

The Jeremy Kyle show is perfectly justified.

    Jeez can you imagine?

Next week on the Jeremy O'Kyle show, Padraig O'Shaughnessy from Enniscrone suspects his wife Mary is having an affair with the family horse. Lie detectors and a DNA test for the son Conor will be used

It's humiliation and exploitation of what seems to be the dregs of society and an endless amount of not so very bright people who in a large % of cases have either drug / drink / illiteracy / anti-social / criminal record problems and only willing to share their dysfuctional lives with the world , where no self respectiing person would . Maybe some of those people get the help they require and need but at what price ? It's the modern day Equivalent of Bedlam

He is by far the most annoying person on TV.

I watch the clips on youtube. I find it hilarious. I dont think I am the 'type' to be on it though. Its like shameless(which I also love) but real life.

Actually, that would be an awesome spin off, having Frank Gallagher go on Jeremy Kyle.

    .

The studio audience are people from all walks of life including university students and in the main , look pretty intelligent (and not as ugly looking ):pac:

The audience at home who sit in front of the tv to watch it ( which must run into the millions because it can be watched at a later time in the evening to ) would come from the same wide variety of backgrounds to .

There isin't much difference between watching Jeremey Kyle or X- Factor ...it's just another form of entertainment except in the JK case, it's hidden under the disguise of really caring for the poor deluded sods who are stupid enough to appear on it.

They had an episode last year for the 5000th episode where Nick and David Platt from cornation street were on it and he was sorting out their problems. I only saw it cause TV3 had it on Good Friday at 8pm.

I love the Jeremy Kyle Show and its American Equivalent The Maury Show :D
I watch both whenever they are on as it really shows how NOT to live your life lol. I know it's exploitation and really I shouldn't watch it but it's just gripping lol.
Especially the shows on Maury where they are like "I've tested 12 men... are you the father of my baby?" Classy eh?
Some of the names of the one's on there are gas, some of them are like La'rochelletraviansharniceshayqwanlatifah the 3rd :D

Off work sick at the moment.... Turned on the telly this mornin and stumbled across the Jeremy Kyle Show. What an absolute load of tripe! Couldn't bare to watch more than 2 minutes before turning it off. Are the guests actually real or are they coached on how to behave to come across as the lowest of the low members of society?!?!

No, I think that they're just cretins scraped from the ultra-shallow end of the gene-pool.

I absolutely HATE Jeremy Kyle. I can't have it on lest I put my foot through the telly. He's such a vile, sleazy, creepy ass. Seriously, anyone who can make those guests look tame has to be repugnant.

I'd only watch a recording of one of those shows if there was a long violent scene showing some neanderthal giving Jeremy Kyle a good kicking.

Wasnt there a newspaper not too long ago that ran the story of Kyle cheating on his wife by sleeping with a juvenile, would not be surprised. If its true which im pretty sure it is, it just shows what a hypocrite he is. Absolute scumbag

There wouldn't be any unemployment if they got the unemployed to build them.

I don't understand why anyone goes on Jeremy Kyle. They may be scumbags but so is Jeremy Kyle and there's no way I'd let the likes of him give me a lecture on my morals.

Jeremy Kyle is for the same type of people that read The Sun; that is people that want to put other people down so as to make themselves feel better about their lives. I bet most of the audience that boo and jeer at the guests are bigger scumbags themselves.

agree with you OP, here you are feeling really bad and then you switch on to this , not exactly going to make you feel better OP. i'd say go back to bed for a few more hours and then try get some fresh air into you, its such as nice, mild day

You might like this. He only gets hit by an envelope but I imagine he would have gotten worse if he wasn't standing behind two burly security guards.
