    Hi,

    I'm looking for some help choosing the equipment for setting up my Mbox 2 Pro with a Mac Book Pro.

    I have been using the Mbox for about 4 years now with my PC but the PC is getting old and is no longer recognising the hardware, although still powering it.

    I've decided to get myself a mac book pro and was wondering if anyone could suggest how this would work given that Firewire 400 is now gone?

    I was looking at a Mac book pro and getting G-Tech drive then to link it from Firewire 800 to 400...Anyone know if this will work?

    Any other ideas that could help get this thing working again??

    Buy a firewire 400 to 800 cable. Simples.
