Hi. Sorry if in wrong place but cant seem to find a way to filter this on any of the rental sites.
Basically Im planning on moving from Galway shortly and Im looking for somewhere which is suitable for the above.
It has to be within a couple of hours of Galway via Public Transport as I will need to get back a couple of times a week so a commuter town would prob be preferable. Currently im thinking Ennis, Gort, Ballinasloe, Athlone etc. but I dont really mind as long as its suitable for the doggy.
To make a long story shorter if anyone knows a site or agent that I can put 'pet friendly' into without getting a list of holiday homes please let me know. Thanks :-)

I know that this is not an answer to the question but I'm gonna throw it in there anyways.

When I read that title, I honestly thought it was some sick weird porn thing that some spammer had come up with.. We have all here of the 2 girls an ...... and one man and ...... I'm not putting in the full names, just cause its not worth it.. but honestly that was my first thought.. I was like, wow :pac:

Anyways, wish ya luck in your search, just had to throw that in there :)

Two "pet friendly" places in the commuter towns of Galway:

http://www.daft.ie/21113368 €550 a month, seems to be a fair trek from Galway.

http://www.daft.ie/21112359 €850 a monthm seems to be a lot closer to Galway city centre.

In saying that, I'd say if you found a nice place with a garden, ask if they accept dogs. They can only say "no".

If you go to the 'advanced search' option on daft.ie you can enter your preferred areas and check a 'pets allowed' box.

However, I have a dog, and when I was looking to rent I found that very few places ticked the 'pets allowed' box. I ended up just searching for places that looked suitable and calling them to ask if they allowed pets. Took a while though!

I don't know of anywhere, but when asking a landlod if they accept dogs you could offer to pay an extra 'pet deposit' to cover any damage that your pet may do. It could help sway their decision and show you're a responsible pet owner.
