    If Joe Duffy says at 2.30 that they have got legal advice saying that they cant release the tape, I will never listen to Liveline again...... (disclaimer: until at least tomorrow)..

    I agree. My post isn't directed towards HLB as such (apart from her delay in coming up with tapes).

    Its aimed at the editorial decision by the Liveline producers and Duffy to air the tapes at the end of the week without letting listeners respond to them. Strange move for a phone in show.

    It shouldn't have happened, but if it's been captured on tape it SHOULD be shown...all these pople that think he's this or that, just want the sanitised, no blood or guts outcome...they don't want to be disturbed by the reality of things.

    To suggest that the "usual suspects" have had no input in this is naive. What the exact circumstances are cannot yet be determined.
