Joe Duffy has an unnatural hatred of bookies especially PP.

We knew what horrible thing happened to this lady way back when, why not organise all this back then when she would have needed money for hospital bills etc ?

I feel alot of these people are just jumping on this bandwagon for their own personal plugs

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,718 ✭✭✭✭JonathanAnon

I'm a bit uncomfortable with all these artists plugging themselves when they come on ... I think they if they come on they should specify that they DONT want to be mentioned..

I don't want to give to an auction, I don't want to give to an artists fund, I just would like to be able to donate directly to that woman, directly. Why cant Joe do his job!

Ian McKellan is a few classes above the usual Voice over jockeys.

I feel that this portrayal of the artists of ireland being struggling visionaries is getting on my tits...pay some tax ya bunch of hippies.

Oh yeah and Joes use of the work Tranche when talking about an art auction is especially offensive..plank.

This show is turning into a plugathon for artists. If these feckers want to give money to the girl, why doesn't Liveline open up a bank account for her and they can donate a few quid anonymously just like the rest of us could??

I always knew it was pronounced 'Lynott', as opposed to 'Lynott'.

I imagine we'll be getting a few of Joe's buddies on to plug his book in the run up to Christmas

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 11,909 ✭✭✭✭Wertz

See now this is just turning into a "poor me" session for artists and some free publicity all to thr soundtrack of a cooing Duffy.
