Does anyone else think Joe couldnt get enough callers taking his side on the luas thing so he changed topic mid-breathe to Donegal?

theres a great buss route to donegal, grand 3hr trip

The North exists love, deal with it. How many people does this road serve?
The fact is we don't have the proverbial pot to urinate in. The Luas link-up is bonkers too,for all the benefit it will bring. It should have been done in the first place and heads should have rolled for that. Doing it now though doesn't make sense, the money could be spent better elsewhere.

    Give Donegal Independence.

That donegal woman should mention that it takes nearly as long to get from south donegal to north donegal than it takes to get from Dublin to south Donegal.

Joe should remind that whiny FF TD as to why Donegal is unpopular....

Why should we give Donegal priority?

Then there should be fines or penalties written into the initial contracts for said f*ck ups.

There should but the engineers draw up the plans with later improvements left out so they can be tacked on...the politicians and civil servants signing off on it aren't engineers so they don't realise it's half arsed and will need further work (and funding)

That road is dangerous to be fair to them...for all the giving out that's done about road safety especially in Donegal and north west, pulling the plug on this is a bit rich. It would also be infrastructure that's needed for industry that is needed for employment up there...

"Donegal could do with those jobs building the road".. is the worst possible argument... I mean Clare Daly goes on about creating jobs on public infrastructure as a was of helping unemployment.. Who do these people think pays for the work done on these projects ???

Not so sure about that, her Grandaddy couldn't wait to get rid of it in 1922.

She could clear off the whiny locals and turn it over to rearing Grouse - it's all it's for anyway. :D

Its a shame Michael Collins didnt include Donegal in as a bonus in that treaty. These people are idiots and are defeating their own arguments.

"More people live in dublin so Dublin gets more money"

    Er yes. Twats.

Aye and the vast majority of the tenders for the project go to NI contractors as well....
