i wish Joe would take this argument to its logical conclusion.

burn bondholders = no more money from ECB = default and rebalance the budget defecit immediately = bye bye public tens of thousands of public sector jobs.

They should be talking about that Naas Mayor, He is an absolute disgrace.

A few years ago, Liveline was much better at reacting to the News Agenda. Now it Just Joe's Agenda.

I hope they do. I might for the first time ever ring in and support the guy as what he's saying is bang on the money. Glad he had the balls to come out and say something in public that everyone knows in private.

So she got a refund, so what's the problem?

They offered a 50% discount for another purchase and also offered 20% ontop of her refund, they seem to be trying to amend their mistake, seems like they made a mistake and are trying to help her.

Ah what're they on about. Liveline seems to just be used as an outlet for half-baked complaints about small consumer transactions lately. Could they not give Tina Leonard a show on 2FM for two hours a week to deal with this silly nonsense.

They should be discussing the issue of the racist FG mayor.

Yeah seeing as a complaint has been made to the Gardai, they wouldn't be allowed discuss it in detail.

    Politician breaks a promise shocker

"Maybe Im living in the time of ...."

your living in cloud cuckoo land.

Its all very well saying they shouldnt have made promises they couldn't keep, but they didn't get a majority. Work harder next time to get more votes.

I'd say Joe is loving this

I would think that Duffy would be incapable of moderating a debate on this, plenty of shouting, hysterics and screeching. Hope I'm wrong, but either way its the leading story on most Irish news sites.

David Harvey on 4FM is having a heated debate on it right now.

I dont think my ears could bare a screaming match between a dublin taxi driver and a nigerian again on liveline while the the nigerian plays the race card and the dub goes on about how theres 2 many taxis
