"I do sympathise with the people who lost their loved ones"...

oh good, cos I was starting to wonder for a second with the whole tone of this show... back upbringing or no upbringing, he deliberately took another like, and deserves to be banged up for life..

Bloody hell, Joe's not paying attention, she said she was a few years younger than McArthur at the start.

And now she's saying leave the poor fella alone.

    Good god.

If everyone that saw their mum beaten up by their dad went off killing people, we'd be living in the murder capital of the world.

Was the American embassy in the Park at this time? That confused me the other morning that embassy staff came to the aid of Bridie Gargan.

A man who spent nearly 30 years in prison for a double homicide. Good guy, just misunderstood? Discuss.

When I was a kid I saw five or six people die violently (not all at the same time) but I've yet to embark on a killing spree.

I know MacArthur is being released but I just wonder what is the point of all this? There have been numerous programmes on radio and tv about this already, what new info is Joe bringing to this? Apart from trying to wring sympathy from the public for a double murderer?

Nah, just your normal violence-ridden country. On another continent, natch.

Some difference between Joe's handling of this case and the case of Alexandra Trotshenko... Alexandra lost her hand, but I mean Bridie lost her life, yet Joe seems to be far more sympathetic to MacArthur's case..

    1 by a bomb
    1 gunshots by military
1 by stabbing (down a dark alley at night)
    1 by stoning
    3 by a firing squad

All a very long time ago.

But we're off-topic here, back to Gooboo Joe...
