Glad I'm not related to any of the people he killed, this item would stick in my craw.

29 yrs is more than most murderers do in this state anyway.

Indeed. I think he should be released. He has served so long because of the high profile nature of he case. Other murderers have been released after serving alot less than that.

Totally unnecessary plug for your man's Private Investigation company there.

If McArthur went to Artane Joe would be full of sympathy and understanding.

Mary: Hello Malcolm, would you like a cup of coffee?

Malcolm: I really dont remember who you are.

I know MacArthur is being released but I just wonder what is the point of all this? There have been numerous programmes on radio and tv about this already, what new info is Joe bringing to this? Apart from trying to wring sympathy from the public for a double murderer?

Extremely tenuous link to taxi driver murder enables Joe to ease into pet topic. Back to mass after the break no doubt...

That's a lot of outgoings a month. 4 grand! Paid too much for the house? Bought an investment property? We need to know what his outgoings are.

How in the hell do you spend 4100 a month?

All a very long time ago.

But we're off-topic here, back to Gooboo Joe...

Jaysus, I don't think I'll go back to Wexford for my holidays again ;)

When I was a kid I saw five or six people die violently (not all at the same time) but I've yet to embark on a killing spree.

    Sorry to hear that.

I really hope I never have to double check how many people I have seen die violently :(

Only recalled the stabbing since I posted that. It was in another violence-ridden country. Which, incidentally, is still tearing itself apart.

This is the reality now unfortunately. There is the 10% at the top, 10% at the bottom. The rest of us in the middle are the ones that will be squeezed.

    Switzerland?

Eh buddy, people who buy ready built houses also paid vast amounts of tax, you're nothing special. You need to tell us where the four grand is going to, your mortgage is €260k which would be what, about €1,200 a month ? Maybe more if taken over a short period.

If he spent 2k a month on a mortgage which would be a whopper of a mortgage, he would still have 2k for food, clothes, car, entertainment, and savings.

What is he spending it on???
He got rid of his Medical insurance which was 2k a year for the family.
