Awful awful radio. The guy is supposed to be reviewing paintings. All he says in "thats a lovely one" "that'll go for good money". This is a serious low in the programme, two old mates self indulging each other.

Oh bollocks. We still have the toy show

Dave Fanning and 2FM donated a guitar with custom artwork.

"Ryan Tubridy is going to donate the late late jumper"

    Big of him.

I think this whole project is a great idea but that guitar signed by Dave Fanning and painted by "rasher" just sounds like a vandalized guitar.

    That was tripe.

What? The toy show is the best thing RTE do in the entire year.

I wouldn't say completely offset, but since he took the reigns it has spiralled down into crapiness.

The woman who was injured by being assaulted clearly needs medical treatment and has other expenses, but why is charity considered the best way of dealing with these?

If the criminal injury compensation scheme is not working then maybe a lobbying campaign would be better than an art auction. If you had a popular radio show then maybe you could use it to help other victims?

"On November 14, Joe spoke to two taxi drivers on air. One driver was accused of skipping a queue and accusations were made about this guy's convictions 30 years ago. Joe was saying that he's paid the price -- why bring this up 30 years later?"

I guess he's referring to Tommy "Detective Deegan" O'Neill, and he has a point.. But there's not a chance of Liveline even mentioning this.. Finucane passed over the headline in seconds yesterday, like she normally does when she or her RTE pals are mentioned..

That auction was held for Alexandra Trotshenko yesterday so no doubt he will be getting pats on the back from handpicked callers..

Art auction, ballyer gangland shooting, leaked motor tax increases are my predictions for this afternoon.

The auction was on the weekend so I'm guessing there's a going to be bits of that. I must stop coinciding my lunch with this crap.
