I'd like to see someone as sharp as Pat in the job. I can't see anything in Joe but piety and platitudes, and he's undiscriminating in the use of both.

Why don't some of you ring in next week and tackle him head on about the show and its content?

    You wouldn't get on.

Not unless you're ringing from a locked ward.

    Philip Boucher Hayes!

    He deserves 400k a year.

Did you hear him on explaining all about the budget? He had pretty much sped read the thing as it was released and was explaining what each cut meant to people.

I'd love to know what he earns. Probably a drop in the ocean compared to Joe.

I never heard him present Liveline, unfortunately. I do like what I hear from him in general.

I would say anyone-but-Joe, but jaysis, Damien.

I'd prefer not to see your contempt for the mentally ill go unchallenged. What's worse is you showed yourself too cowardly even to clarify what you were implying in your "pussies" post. And then you object to the very existence of a stigma your posts themselves are evidence of.

    get over yourself

read back through the posts, stop construing that what suits your agenda

I stand over my statements, you can whine over yours.

    pity much?

What have I misconstrued? Would you like to elaborate on your "toughen up pussies" post now?

I caught some of a documentary last night about public art presented by Joe. The Anna Livia statue was being brought back to Dublin and of course the sculpter was live on air talking to Joe as they drove through O'Connell Street. As it clearly shows this was set up for the cameras with talking to Joe been recoreded for the documentary.
Once again another example of Joe's own agenda.

I didn't see the show, but I wouldn't imagine that Joe is a big fan of conceptual or even abstract art, is he?

Molly Malone with her cart is more his type of thing.

Or am I reading him wrong?

His favourite statues were his "brethren" Connolly and Larkin..

That show with the self published authors was boring...

Your shop is full of junk, walked past it a few times. If its no longer viable then the landlord is entitled to find a viable tenant.
