    As for why TG4 are carrying it, they tend to cover Irish history in all it's guises. They also tend to document it and let it speak for itself instead of bringing political or moral bias into it...


    I gave out at the time it was formed that TnaG was a waste of money but even though i cant understand a fifth of whats being said it TOWERS over RTE in the documentary department.

    routinely watch it now for them (and the weather girls).

    this one might be controversial but its just a long line of them theyve did on contempory history in this country covering a whole host of diverse issues from the start of bord na mona and electification of the island to the founding fathers.

    if anything its a fecking travesty the national broadcaster cant match it for its public service remit.

    only pity it takes something like this to pique duffys interest in their output.

    Where does he think the PIRA branched of from ? Its all connected right back to the foundation of this state and even beyond.
