    "I'm not a fool" - Pat

Some people might argue that point.

    "We dont do debt forgiveness".

Well why would they? If they did the flood gates would be opened. They wouldn't get a penny from anyone then.

What does he want, General De Chastilin to come in and sort it out?

So the daughter owes 320,000 the house is now worth 140,000. Tough. Valuations can go up as well as down.

Why cant they just pay it off every month from their salaries in Australia?

    Does this annoy anyone else:

Caller:"I'm not going to mention his name because..."
    Joe:"No, dont, dont!"

He just said he isnt going to, why do you have to tell him not to??

It actually annoys me twice. It annoys me when the caller says "I'm not going to mention his name", and then it annoys me when Joe says "no dont".

There is no need to say "I'm not going to mention his name" unless you have been asked or prompted to say it.

    It irritates me.

lol. Heres one that annoys me. The caller is going on with their story for a while and occasionally because Joe isnt giving the odd 'right' 'ok' mumble etc to let them know hes listening and to encourage them to go on they stop suddenly and go "Hello...hello?" as if they feel they are cut off and Joe answers sounding all peeved "yeah yeah im here go on pffft" like why do people bleedin do this on me.

    My suggestion:

Pat phuck off to Australia and live off your daughter.

Who lets these people on the radio to give advise............

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 18,966 ✭✭✭✭syklops

This guys suggestion is quite good. It gets the bank off their back and allows them to repay the money while they live in the house.

This is not acceptable to Joe because it means the bank doesn't take a hit.

    My suggestion to pat,accept reality.

Your daughter is taking you for a fool.

    Pat hand the keys back.

And go to the pub, have a cry,and have a kebab.

the ability to just 'hand the keys back' is what contributed hugely to the subprime bubble in the USA. Caller is irresponsible.
