Does anyone remember a band called Skid Row? They had a hit in the late 80s I think. It was one of those acoustic heavy metal jobs that were popular at the time(eg. Patience by Guns and Roses).
I don't recall Brush kicking up a fuss at the time.

To be fair, Brush Shiels has been in dispute over the name since the late 80s.

    Breaking news.....

Rich Boy Barett shocked and outraged!

This woman rang Liveline in December about something else and mentioned the poor conditions of the women in Grangegorman mental hospital.

Joe completely ignored what the original call was about, and went off on one about closed wards etc.

Caller, even though she knew it was breaking her conditions of employment, continued to spill the beans about what was going on.

Joe kept reassuring her that there would be no comeback on her for breaking confidence of her employer, and then spent the following whole week going on about the women spending Xmas locked up, getting TD's involved etc.

After Christmas, whistle blowing caller was sacked.

He should donate his €12k travel allowance to the mental health system.

Louise wasn't whistle blowing, she was discussing normal activity within the Mental health unit where she was on work experience/trial.
If Louise was a true advocate she wouldn't have ran to the Whineline .

That fella doing the Lyons tea promo doesn't sound right at all.

In fact the whole thing sounds like something those eejits on the Apprentice would knock together in a couple of hours...

She sounds a bit naive. You could tell she knew she was breaking the rules during the original call, and now she is ruining any chance of her future employment.

RBB and the SWP will exploit her for what they can get out of it and then drop her like a stone.
