Lets be honest about it... There was a knacker hanging round my place looking to buy an old car off me.. I let it off cheap to get rid of the c*nt, cos he'd been hanging round the place while I wasnt there... notes turned out to be fakes..

I'd checked his reg online and it matched the car, so I assumed he wouldnt try to scam me... Brought the details to the guards, they ran the reg through the computer and found the guy.. and did fuk all else.. I didnt give a sh1t about the money, just wanted the c*nt stopped... Called down three times and never got a call back to me...

If there is no money in it, i.e. by fining good people for stupid small crimes, then they are not interested..

This might be handy for Joe, he can have a go at the council for this as a revenge for not talking to Joe yesterday.

Of course if the place goes up and the inspections were found out to be ignored in the past then the council gets a bollicking too. Not nice for that chap but proper order.

Coalport? Thats Tom McFeeney of the Hunger Strikes and dodgy estates in Portlaoise.

Over my years in sites the ONLY new builds that were properly inspected throughout the process of build were council or local authority housing or civic buildings, and they were the only place where I ever saw call backs for breaches of code...

burn the place down & claim the insurance ....seams like the obvious solution
