"This country is full of gangland killings"

Well you're a bloody senior guard, if you're not able to deal with it now, perhaps it's no harm you're retiring so!

I think blaming the Government for this is not exactly blaming the right person...
    We should be blaming...

    1. The unions and the Croke Park Agreement.. The Government should be able to cherry pick the worst of the staff and be allowed to fire them.. Croke Park only allows for voluntary agreements

    2. The selfish nature of the decision being made by these "public servants". There is nothing patriotic about what they are doing, it is done completely in their own self interest.. Most will be working at this time next year while also pulling a pension from the state, which I dont consider patriotic either.

If Joe wasn't nodding in agreement with Martin the Cop so much he'd have cut that (bad) line long ago.

I can barely make out what he's saying (fortunately :) )

    "Liam Doran ..

Love or lothe him he's great at arguing his point for the nurses, I wish our politicians were that articulate at fighting a point. Of all the union trolls he stands out a mile.
