    Censorship???

Of course he should be on the phone but with a qualifying voice to give it sense and balance and not just Joe (not a plug for the bewk!) exploiting the poor guy and then coming out with the "bad line" cliché at the end of it

    Tears..on the way.

In fairness duffy is encouraging hysteria about the article at this stage and needs to calm this down without getting some sort of balance.

Papers should not have freedom of speech.

    Excellent point, well made.

Im done with Liveline. Its become a real farce and listening to it the last while makes me really angry with the idiocy and blatant unneutral and unbalanced stances of the muppet presenter. The stupidity of the callers and their rants isnt funny or amusing anymore, its just become a soapbox for whinging kuntz with a personal or localised agenda. Hope duffy gets his p45 soon and the incesteous family that is rte has their cosy cartel broken up.

    Autism is way over diagnosed.

Aspergers, for instance, is completely non-existent. It's just a medical excuse for weirdos to be weird.

I agree... and I think yer man wrote his article along the lines of pointing that out, but it came across very badly.

Mrs. Layperson not so argumentative with authoritative academic who delivers his points in a calm and rational manner. Joe won't like this, I suspect a bad line any second now and a return to shouting and tears.....

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,718 ✭✭✭✭JonathanAnon

Liveline in the old days would have been discussing the murder in Tallaght, and possibly the suspensions for the DerryTresk players...

The show is so terrified of being sued or making a legal faux pas, it's pointless.

Just tuning in - is this Dr. Humphries?

what will probably happen is joe will try and make out the doctor is wrong and that he (joe) and everyone else is right

no point in doing that now, he's covered it and we now know the outcome. job done.
