I hope its not as embarrassing as when Liz taylor died

Oh God yea, I forgot about that...a load of geriatrics only dying for an opportunity to go on national radio, and that was their chance as they had once seen a Liz Taylor film back in the 50s.

    Dreadful radio.

Seems like Joe will be talking about the LEAP CARD not working as well as it's supposed to, as well as listeners memories of Irish acting legend David Kelly.

Listeners such as "legendary" people like Syl Fox, Docc Savage, Ben Dunne or Brush Shields? I can see where this will be going today; what a day to be off work sick

i doubt we'll hear from Brush, he's to busy trying to convince Jon bon jovi that he's some sort of a musician, most likely we'll hear from people of the theatre world, and Gay Byrne.

why not put ATM/Credit Card/Laser Card readers on buses and train stations? i don't see the point in having yet another card.

Of course you have to buy it... https://www.leapcard.ie/

Why would you be entitled to it?

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,730 ✭✭✭europa11

Joe--"I have a query for Roger?" Is Roger the definitive authority on the LEAP card now?

Oh Jesus here come the Brits...bow down and tug forelock Joe.

Because in every other city in Dublin, you can buy cards that work across all public transport, so you don't have to buy a separate ticket for each journey. It's as logical as building tramways that meet in the middle...wait a second...

Because 90% of callers to the Laahvlaahhn have a sense of entitlement to everything.
