    Anyone know how much they charge? Is it per day or per journey length, or some other weird way?

    Not sure on the price but i do know that it takes roughly 40 minutes to get from where you live to the town centre :eek:. They go into pretty much every estate in the town.

    I think the only real reason for the bus was that they need to have it to get City status, I was told by someone an elected member that they pretty much know its crap but don't care either, lol.

    (edit: this was not long after it started so it could be a different route now, but i doubt it)

    I see they now operate 2 buses, have been for a while so the Journey into town will only be 25 minutes... no sign of prices but there is a timetable.

    Whats really annoying about the service is its start and end times, really awkward for people coming and going from work

    Got it home today, was only 2 euro!

    Is it reliable for time? Could come in handy for college on wet days

    He didn't really seem to be following the timetable, so not sure what the story is with it =/

    i have found it completly useless with regards to reliability and time keeping.

    Letterkenny is just not suited for it at all, the main street slows/stops any attempts to keep it going on time.

    If i was in charge i'd have one bus serve tesco side of town, covering estates up and around there and only leave people at bottom of main street or bottom of high road.

    same goes for a bus on old dunnes side of town, avoid bottlenecks like that road by tin tai and blacks around the 4 o clock school time as thats a joke.

    Letterkenny is far from ready for a proper bus service, roads would need to be widened and built, bus lanes would be needed too or at least more than 2 buses

    :eek::eek: ???
    I was told by someone an elected member that they pretty much know its crap but don't care either, lol.

    Yeah that sounds about right a politician sniggering, at a service that would be should be a godsend for the elderly

    Hey was just wondering if this bus service is still running? If so does anyone have the timetable for the Ramelton road area? Does anyone use it to get to and from work? :-)

    I think its still running anyway as I recently seen an empty bus touring around the town which I was told was the town bus.

    You could take that old bus, I suppose," he said with a certain hesitation, "but it ain't thought much of hereabouts. It goes through Innsmouth - you may have heard about that - and so the people don't like it. Run by an Innsmouth fellow - Joe Sargent - but never gets any custom from here, or Arkham either, I guess. Wonder it keeps running at all. I s'pose it's cheap enough, but I never see mor'n two or three people in it - nobody but those Innsmouth folk. Leaves the square - front of Hammond's Drug Store - at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. unless they've changed lately. Looks like a terrible rattletrap - I've never been on it."
