Need new laptop which are ideal with these specs

    Hi

    can't settle on a laptop got to get one this week!

    Will be for home use and one to work well with music programs..

    Would need one with a fast proscessor (quad core if possible so I'm told!)

    plenty of ram 4-8gigs the more the better I suppose

    a big hardrive of 500gig+

    something that works well to support audio for music production etc

    a mac is just out of price range

    budget 500-800

    What Program are you using that needs the Quad?

    This one. Quad.

    This one. Dual Core, Ball of RAM, Good Graphics Card, Bigger screen since you said Home Use.

    the 2nd one there looks eaxctly what I'm after..

    I was looking at lenovo's as I heard there the next best thing to macs for audio performance etc, but didn't see any under 1k

    for starters I'd be running ableton live, and will add as I go..

    I'll definetely consider that lenovo one, only thing I remember Reading is that the idea-pad ain't as good but I'll more research

    Hey,

    went for a lenovov that's on sale in harvey's..

    Bringing it back today as it's not working.. Great start to it..


    It's €527 and has 8gb of ram, 500gb hard-drive, i3 processed.. 15.6 inch screen.. Looks like a powerfull machine.. Hopefuly it's a good choice
