Buying Replacement Battery - mAh question

    Hi,

I have an old camcorder which is 7.4 V and is 1850 mAh

I want to buy a new battery as the current one no longer charges.

I found two batteries on Amazon with the same model number and voltage.

One has a mAh value of 1600 and the other has a mAh value of 2000

Which one should I get? Or is the higher value better? Will both work for my camcorder?

I read some websites which would suggest that the higher value gives longer charge, but I don't want to buy the wrong one and find that it doesn't work...

    Thanks
