October 15th 2011:

Two Routes are on offer to cyclists. The more demanding 120km challenge and the 50km challenge for leisure cyclists.

Good one, any proper map? Hopefully Hector and Roy keane will at least do the 50 seeing as they do publicity for the Irish guide dogs!

Well after much consideration I decided to turn up & give it a lash, and I probably shouldn't have but..........I'm glad I did, ie. the weather was awful, but the route was completed and I'm glad I had the comfort of the large group that took part, it definitely made the discomfort of getting soaked all the more bearable.

Some rain coming into Macroom;you wouldnt have put the mother in law out in it. Brutal.
Great day though, we'll be having pints on the strength of that for years to come.
