Possible to set ps3 to English for DVD?

Just wondering if it's possible to set the ps3 to automaticly start all DVDs to English? It's annoying having to load up each DVD at startup! Also is it possible to do same for games?

yes, but it's dependant on what language is on the disc.

DVD/Blu-ray will be under video settings and games i think default to the system language.
