    Can someone direct me to information on obtaining an alcohol license to sell wine at a special event (say an outdoor market?).

    Mulled wine at Xmas markets OP ;)

    I know you can rig up with a local publican and he can apply for a special license on your behalf. He'd have to make an appearance in the District Court and he'd also be responsible if you sold alcohol to minors.

    There might be other ways to do it but I know that that is one of them, at least that's how the Laytown Races do it every year.
