I feel a bit like the turtle from the "Turtle and the Hare" story.... steadily downloading it for the past AGES.... now at 689MB with 7 mins remaining. Don't jinx it now

It does. I'm down twice now, it seems to go back to the start, but given the time to reach the last position, it's certainly not downloading everything again ~ it's probably 'just' checking the download.

Right I've a 3gs and it says that the file was 668. something in size yet I have kept seeing the number 747 or 774 in this thread. Is it because ye all have a 4 or has something gone wrong ? A simple yes or no from anybody would be much appreciated.

Same. On 96% now and it went from 1.8 mbps to 40 kbps

i got the same error too, then it told me i had to restore...got another error. now my phone is stuck in recovery mode.

ive switched from my mac to my pc and its restoring it now
