So where's this iMessage thing??
No sign of it on my phone.

ios5 up and running on iPhone 4. Took hours. Not even gonna bother with with iPad. First impressions good, really love new text alert while in safari. Presume same for other apps!!

Backed up ipad and stuck it in recovery mode then it came back up on 5.0 and restored my back up happy days... Good luck people

At these download speeds I expect to get a message when I finish the update "iOS 6.0 is now available"

Was dreadeding updating reading all the people getting error messages above the same feeling I got when I tried to jailbreak it first but luckly enough mine upgraded first time no problem, sorry guys dont mean to rub it in. Best of luck

The file flew down from iClarified for me.

.. not gonna bother updating just yet.

My phone went into recovery mode after not being able to get verified by apple.
I tried restoring but it took a good 5 minutes.
The screen now shows the apple logo and a progress bar underneath!

Progress, i suppose.

had a serious disaster updating, but finally have the iPhone up and running on iOS5.

Lost all of my 100+ apps. Only way to get them back was to manually redownload them, groan.

Trying to get iCloud up and running now on my Macbook and iPhone. It's giving me hassle because my existing Apple ID isn't an email address. Sake.
