    Just saw this on his Facebook.For those not familiar with him he starred in one of the most controversial and celebrated cult horror movies of all time The Last House on the Left in the lead role of Krug.

    A true horror icon and by all accounts a gentleman to anyone that met him.

    Very saddened by this.

    He was a Wes Craven regular, he's also the lead baddy in Swamp Thing... and the only (almost) believable character in it

    Very strange I knew I knew the name! I was in HMV the other day and picked up (didn't buy!) Smash Cut. Maybe it was because a certain porn star was on the cover.

    So checked out the trailer and it looks like absolute crap!

    But long story short...he was in it.

    /Grandpa Simpson-like story.
