    Just wondering if it is possible to leave a group once you have subscribed?

    Do you mean a social group like the ones listed here or something else?

    You can become a member of a social group and follow it (appears in the User CP), but you can leave/unfollow the group at any time. There's an option at the bottom beneath the discussions (threads) when you're a member
