Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi all, looking for some help or insight here. Joined aeos in may 2010 and reps planner has since told us we need to supply receipts to a value of 3500 for planting 100 trees to get the grant. 100 trees will only cost 2000 euro on average I figure. So what kind of scheme expects people to spend money before getting grant! I see now why alot of fellas are pulling out. Another fella was told he needs to provide 6000 of receipts before getting paid:confused: I checked the terms and conditions and nowhere does it give these figures or conditions, only to supply receipts for materials purchased.
Sorry for ranting lads and ladies, any help or information in relation to this is greatly appreciated:)

The position is that for eg hedge row planting the payment is E32/metre in total. Up to half of this can be for labour ie max E16/metre. The rest is paid on receipts, so in order to get the max payment for hedge planting you would need receipts for E16/metre for buying plants, wire, stakes etc. The problem as far as I have seen so far is that 1. the invoices are coming in at a lot less than E16/metre and 2. as it is reimbursement for money spent (and remember this will be spread over 5 years) there is no financial gain from bumping up the spending In plain english options such as hedge planting, tree planting etc are designed in such a way that very few farmers will get as much money as they may have expected.
