Hi, I have just completed 2 years in a public sector job. During that time I have contributed to a pension scheme. I would be grateful if somebody could outline what my options are at this point regarding my pension. S

You need to talk to your pension advisor. This thread might be better suited for the Banking & Insurance & Pensions forum?

I moved from a defined benefits pension with eircom (which I believe to be similar to the PS pension) to a standard defined contributions pension, and I wasn't able to do anything with it. I think it's just treated as a separate second pension until I retire.
