sea fishing, galway, kids

is there anywhere in galway/clare area where i could bring a couple of kids sea fishing. 1) somewhere not to far of a walk from the car. 2) somewhere relatively safe (no cliffs) 3) to keep interest up with the kids, somewhere we might have a half descent chance of a fish. cheers............

go out to spiddal pier ya can drive all the way down the pier safe enough there for kids too
