Astec House Alarm

    Alarm is going off randomly (while at work or at 3am which is always nice)saying Zone 2 Contact error

    Have tried replacing the contacts however still occuring. I have heard from a few others that they are experiencing same error but are now leaving alarm system off

    Dont see the point of having an alarm system and not using it so I want to try get this resolved

    Astec is very unforgiving of bad connections. Any sort of bad connection could be causing this. What is on that zone?

    Sorry for taking so long to get back to you Koolkid

    But went and checked the connections in the zone and moved the contacts closer together to rule out bad connections as you said.

    So far so good it hasnt gone off once
