Traffic advice anyone?

I need to travel from Swords to Rathmines (Leinster Road) at about 5.30-6.00 this evening and want to make it in time for the match. Which way would have lighter traffic - M50 and then in the N81 or try and go all the way in the N1 through town? I'm not too bothered about the m50 toll but I wouldn't be using the port…
