Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello all,

I'm doing a college assignment on organic veg growing anyways I need to know how much would it cost to buy and rent a single acre... :/

    Any help would be appreciated.

to buy a single acre would be dear as it would be seen more as a site anywhere
    from 5000 to 50000
To rent an acre maybe around 200 a year it would help if you knew a farmer as
they would usually rent the whole farm you could try somewhere that rents alotments

Hello and welcome. As Djmc said, it depends. To buy good land, you would start about 8k and go upwards, i'd say. Depending on its location (near the farmer being worth more) and use (suitable for growing crops worth more). Access to the land is also important.

For your project, is it price per acre or just for 1 acre? Smaller plots will be worth more and larger plots less per acre.

For renting, again as Djmc says 200 an acre would be a good ballpark figure subject to all the above as well.

    Cheers people,

I've been having a look at property sites and what not as well so I now have a mid point price range.

Cheers again and good vibrations to all. :)
