Theres a guy on donedeal near athlone that brings in truckloads of seconds thay are very cheap mostly just sidepanel dented of scratch on the top or sides.

With regard to brands miele are incredible, parents first one lasted 25 years all parts still available, first set of motor brushes lasted 20 years compared to about 3 for most brands. They upgraded to a new miele and the laundry comes out nearly dry you'll save the price of the washing machine in dryer costs over a few years. Others I've been impressed by are siemens lavomat.
