Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Whats the going rate for dung spreading ?

The old side slinger has packed in and as only have to spread the dung from the horses not worth getting another one.

Have Matbro loader and digger so would just need someone to spread it ?

know a guy with a tullow spreader, he charges €40 per hour for spreading alone and €60 if a loader is needed as well

Off topic slightly. Is horse dung any good at growing grass? I have a neightbour who has tons of it all rotten back for 2 - 5 years and i could take but wasnt sure what its qualities were

It'll grow grass allright. But you might want to check with your vet or someone in the know that it wouldn't bring a disease onto your land that your animals might pick up.

Also, I find that with our ponies, they seem to dung in one place in the field, and this spot grows ragwort year in year out.

Thats Reilig, ill drop the vet a text later on. Ragworth is a pain. Im fully ragworth free but dont worry in a past life i pulled my fair share. a 20 acre field took me 3 days one year and the following year only 1 hour, its a nice achievement when your ragworth free, then your only problem is the neighbour and wind

The rate around here is 100 per hour for loading shovel and spreading with a rear discharge
