Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Thanks Guys,

I don't know why they chose me but I'm willing to give a hand. My role is to clean up and prevent potential messes as opposed to policing the forum. So I'm not going to be cracking the whip. We're all descent country people on here and we get on very well together (well in comparison to some other forums anyway). :D

I look forward to working with everyone. I hope to contribute as much as I always did - but from now on I'll have to moderate my own posts before I post them so hopefully I won't be posting as much sh1t

I just want to thank johngalway and smccarrick for their recommendation of me for this position. I thought I had caused them too much trouble to be considered for such a role.

If I can help anyone, just let me know!

    Reilig

Anyone notice the irony of Reilig's user name?
Hope it isnt a portent of things to come! :D.

The F&F forum is a great asset and a great forum to post in, particularly in comparison to some other fora. As Reilig said, A lot of helpful decent country poeple on here.

Good stuff Reilig, and I hope it's a long term position!

It was a nickname from secondary school many moons ago. It was a phase we went through, calling everyone by a few letters from their father's name with an "ig" at the end. Its pretty unique so I have used it as my username in a coupe of places since. :D

Best of luck with it Reilig. Unlike the others I hope you will be kept busy!! A bit of passion and controversy is essential to keep threads lively and interesting and it cant be an easy job to keep it all just below boiling point.
