Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Offtopic- can you see it on the mobile site now- because I certainly can't see post headings- of any nature, and never have been able to.

No, same as you re: mobile site. Can't see them. So if people could mention in post the details rather than on the heading it would be great!

    Anyway... back on topic! :D

Also reductions on the sauces shelf, I got Chef vinegar for 82 cents (500ml), saw lots of brown sauces, ketchup, mayos, etc...

Just filled up in the Esso garage on the quays on the way out of Dublin- diesel @ 144.9. The Esso and the Applegreen in Palmerstown were 145.9 and 145.5 respectively- while Tesco Maynooth are currently 149.9. When you've a 75 litre tank (I have a Volvo with an optionally large 'touring' tank) the couple of pence adds up to around 4 Euro per fill- which as I didn't have to go out of my way for the cheaper fuel, is a bit of a no-brainer.

Use unleaded myself at 153.9 per litre Esso Ballybough vs Tesco Clearwater at 164.9 per litre. Was costing 166.9 per litre last day I was in Finglas.

Thanks. Loads of pickles reduced in Mahon as well as flavoured Olive oils (chilli, basil). Small bottles of franks xtra hot sauce reduced and some other chilli sauces. Loads of different condiments reduced. Stocked up on the vinegar as you rarely see the distilled stuff reduced and Aldi/Lidl only do a cheap malt vinegar:( Also plenty of the gluten free/special diet that you mentioned reduced too.

    153.9 on the quays too......
That filling station is damn good value....... (insofar as its possible for fuel to be good value- when 85% of its price is taxes and duties going straight to the Revenue Commissioners)

It was done for miscalibrated pumps in 2011. All pumps have recent NSAI seals- and it has only been an Esso for about 2 months now- prior to that it was an Applegreen. Since the incident in 2011- it has not featured in the NSAI compliance list. No issue to report. And to be honest- I'd trust Esso fuel a lot quicker than I would Tesco or Top fuel- it has different lubricants added to it- I reckon I get 1-2 mpg extra out of it for urban driving, and up to 5mpg extra for suburban driving (according to the onboard computer on the car).

Just to save people hassle in there stores; the barcode for the product is 5011417556740 if you ask them at the customer service desk or any assistant should be able to tell you the stock level in store.

Point is ? Just because there deranged dose not mean they won't appear in the updated range.

No offense , but smart arses like yourself put me off posting this stuff. I don't have to bother doing this it dose not benefit me in anyway yet I take the time to print off the list and post it here. So if you have a serious question fire away, keep the smart posts to yourself.

Had a look in Tesco in mahon and didn't see any of the things I wanted reduced :( (including crunchy nuts, cooking chocolate, tooth paste, washing detergents) Could the reductions be specific to extra stores or something? I did get pack of 5 good quality tea towels for 81c and some reduced to clear foodstuffs so not a wasted journey!

Just back from Tesco, Clarehall and looked at receipt. Got charged 50c for 6 200ml Kulana apple juice cartons. Should have been €1.49 which is still cheap.

Depends on what the store dose with there deranged stock, personally I shift it from the warehouse ASAP as it take up space I could be using. Other stores have an iffy approach as in its permanently green crated wrote off and left to go out of date. Again instead of Tesco targeting this mad waste of money, they just go for cutting back on staffing levels again impacting even more on the money wasting activities stores engage in. Another waste of money is ex promotion stock once the promotion is over in some stores its green crated and left untouched until its out of date or wrote off the system. Again instead of targeting issues like this they rather cut back on staff, I feel sorry for customers Tesco has some great policies that would work really well and drive trade, great offers and make it a different shopping experience. Instead area and regional managers cut back on the allowed spend for various processes, task and routines just to look good on paper. It aggravates me because I see all the complaints people have about been over charged, shops in ribbons, unclean and demotivated staff.

Stores should have a deranged and delisted bay for each department with the listed stock above stocked in it. Instead, area managers won't allow bays to be allocated to deranged and delisted stock as they take away from normal bays with products in it.

So apologies if you can't find the stuff listed above, it shouldn't but it sadly dose vary from store to store what you may find. Makes it worse it's more than likely out the back sitting in a green crate left to go to waste !
